Eve Air Mobility names four additional suppliers

Eve Air Mobility has named four additional supplies for its electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) craft, confirming that the venture remains “on schedule with [its] master plan” of an entry into service date of 2026.

“We are building a strong and reputable list of qualified suppliers,” explained Eve Air Mobility CEO Johann Bordais. “We have been very deliberate in establishing a long-term working relationship with each of our suppliers. Each agreement covers the aircraft’s life cycle including prototype, production, and aftermarket service and operational support.”

Thales will supply an air data solution (comprising sensors and a computer) while Honeywell will provide guidance, navigation and external lighting for the aircraft. RECARO will supply the seats and FACC will be responsible for the aircraft’s horizontal and vertical tail including the rudder and elevator.

These new suppliers will join existing contracts Eve has with Garmin, Liebherr Aerospace, Intergalactic and Nidec Aerospace. In July, the company announced its first EVTOL production facility will be located in São Paulo, Brazil. It has already begun assembly if its first full-scale prototype which will commence a flight test campaign later this year.
