Eurowings launched a new service between Hannover and Milan Bergamo Airport on May 6, 2024.
The flights, which will utilise the A320, will take place twice a week, with more planned for later in the year.
A statement from Milan Bergamo Airport said the ""addition of Hannover complements Eurowings’ existing operations between Dusseldorf and Milan Bergamo, further expanding the airport’s network and offering more flexible travel options to passengers.""
Giacomo Cattaneo, director of commercial aviation, SACBO, said: ""We are thrilled to welcome Eurowings’ new flight from Hannover, which marks another significant step in our ongoing efforts to enhance international connectivity and support the local economy. This service will be a vital link for business professionals and strengthens our position as a key gateway to Northern Italy.""
