Data from the Taga Telematics Observatory has shown that during the summer of 2024 - European airports operated with higher activity – when compared to the same period of the previous year.
Analysis of data regarding the daily average hours of activity of airport service vehicles - conducted by the Targa Telematics Observatory - found that in July and August, there was an increase of 5% in airport activity during July in comparison to the same month of 2023. Similarly in August, airport activity rose by 4% when compared to the same month of the previous year.
Looking at globally collected data, there was a 2.8% increase in airport activity during July compared to the same month of 2023. In August activity remained unchanged from the year prior.
