Portuguese charter and wet-lease carrier euroAtlantic Airways has entered a new agreement with Brazilian airline Azul.
This partnership will provide additional direct flights connecting São Paulo and Lisbon, with operations having commenced on December 19, 2024. euroAtlantic will provide several long-haul aircraft to support this route, with potential for additional aircraft to be added in 2025.
This agreement follows an increase in demand for flights between Portugal and Brazil with Stewart Higginson, CEO and President of euroAtlantic Airways, highlighting that the new "strategic" partnership between the carriers aims to strengthen connections between the two countries.
