Etihad Airways has launched new flights from Abu Dhabi to Medina this week. The addition of the route will further strengthen the airline's footprint in Saudi Arabia.
Etihad will operate five weekly flights to the city using its A321 aircraft. Later this year, the route will increase to six weekly flights.
“The launch of Medina reflects our commitment from Abu Dhabi to Saudi Arabia, one of our most important markets,” said Etihad Airways CEO Antonoaldo Neves.
With the addition of this route, the airline will operate 93 flights per week across the Kingdom.
