Etihad carried 1.7 million passengers during January, an 18% increase in comparison to the same month of the prior year.
The airline recorded an average load factor of 89% for the month, up from 86% that was recorded during January 2024.
Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, said that these robust operating figures signal “continued upward momentum” for the airline during the rest of the year.
He added: “We have also announced further increase in frequencies to our network, including plans to go triple-daily to Milan from November, 2025 and four-daily to Bangkok from February 2025.”
Etihad’s operating fleet grew from by 13 aircraft in comparison to January last year, while its network grew by four destinations.
