Etihad carried 1.6 million passengers during March, an increase of 14% when compared to the same month of the year prior.
Average load factor during March totalled 82%, down from 84% that was recorded during March 2024.
The airline also increased its operating fleet by nine aircraft and added four more destinations to its network.
"In the past month alone, we have announced two new routes and increased flight frequencies, bringing the total number of new destinations scheduled for 2025 to 16,” said Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways
During the first three-months of the year, Etihad carried a total of five million passengers, up from 4.3 million that were carried in during the first quarter of the previous year.
Load factor across the quarter averaged at 87%, an increase of 1% when compared to March 2024.
