Etihad Cargo has collaborated with Awery Aviation Software to implement a customised version of Awery’s enterprise resource planning system, helping the cargo provider manage its cargo chartering programme.
The partnership was initiated by a global surge in e-commerce deliveries, which has seen Etihad Cargo receive a 35% interest in charter requests. In 2023, the provider operated 262 charter flights, an overall 23% increase compared to the previous year. As well as enabling Etihad to manage charter enquiries more efficiently, the AI-driven software solution will also provide consistent and competitive pricing.
“The tailored Awery ERP system will enable the carrier to meet the increasing demand for charter services in the market and improve operational efficiency and customer service,” confirmed Stanislas brun, vice president of cargo at Etihad Cargo.
