Ethiopian Airlines is increasing capacity between Manchester and Addis-Ababa, increasing frequencies from five flights per week between the two cities but will increase this service to a daily frequency from July 3, 2025.
Manchester Airport said that more than 35,000 passengers travel from the airport to destinations across Africa with Ethiopian Airlines every year.
Flights from Manchester will continue to be operated by Ethiopian’s A350 aircraft with a stopover in either Geneva or Marseille.
This new schedule will commence just one day after Ethiopian Airlines launches a new service from Addis Ababa to Porto, Portugal via Madrid.
