Travellers from all over the world now will have direct access to both these cities via Ethiopian Airline's strategic hub in Addis Ababa.

Ethiopian Airlines will operate three weekly flights to Maputo from Addis Ababa and four weekly flights to Bangui. The launch of these new flight services marks Ethiopian Airline’s 60th destination globally and 39th in Africa, further expanding the airline’s route network as part of the company’s strategic initiative to link major African cities with the rest of the world.

In addition to these new flights, Ethiopian Airlines and Air Mozambique signed an agreement to code share the Addis Ababa/ Maputo route. All Ethiopian Airlines flights operating to Maputo will be code shared with Air Mozambique with successful completion of system compatibility tests.
