Emirates is set to deploy its new premium economy and business class cabins on four more routes beginning in October.
The retrofitted Airbus A380s will operate daily services between Dubai and Amman from October 26, while its retrofitted Boeing 777 fleet will serve Mumbai 22-times per week from October 26 and once weekly to Bahrain from October 30. Alongside its retrofitted fleet, Emirates will deploy its new Premium Economy-equipped Airbus A350 fleet on all nine weekly flights to Muscat beginning December 4.
Emirates retrofitting initiative is set to see the overhaul and update of 229 A380s and 777s, refreshing cabin interiors and adding premium economy seating options. As of August 2025, Emirates has 67 active retrofitted aircraft, serving on flights to over 70 cities, including Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Nice, and Frankfurt. Previously announced retrofitted 777 services to Madrid are eyed to start September 16.
Premium Economy seating is available on more than 635-weekly flights across its network, on its retrofitted fleet and newly delivered A350s. Emirates is targeting the addition of over 200,000 Premium Economy seats by the end of 2025, increasing its total offering to 2 million seats.
The carrier currently operates nine A350s to 15 destinations. Roughly 11 more A350s are expected to be delivered through 2025 and 2026.
