Emirates has officially returned to the Syrian capital Damascus with it touching down in the city on July 16, 2025.
“By providing our services and connecting Damascus to the world, we are helping to reunite families, friends, and communities who have long awaited easier access to their loved ones,” said Emirates senior vice president commercial operations Adil Al Ghaith.
The service was operated by the airline's 777-200LR aircraft.
