Emirates will introduce its retrofitted 777 aircraft on eight additional routes, as the airline noted that it’s retrofit programme continues to progress at an “impressive pace”.
From June the Dubai-based carrier will fly to Lisbon, Dublin, Hong Kong, Male, Kolkata, Colombo, Johannesburg and Cape Town and on recently upgraded 777s.
From June, London Stansted also will receive its second daily service on a retrofitted aircraft.
The airline said it aims to serve 44 cities with its fleet of refurbished 777 and A380 aircraft by September 2025.
