Embraer has signed a new maintenance contract with CommuteAir for its new facilities in Fort Worth, Texas.
This deal inked with the regional airline, which operates as a United Express partner, will provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for Embraer aircraft operating in CommuteAir’s fleet.
“CommuteAir is pleased to strengthen its partnership with Embraer by commencing heavy airframe maintenance at its new facility in Fort Worth,” said Lon Ziegler, CommuteAir’s vice president of technical operations. “By working with our aircraft original equipment maintenance (OEM), we will support our goals of ensuring the highest reliability for our ERJ145 fleet.”
This week Embraer opened its new commercial facilities in Texas. The company first announced these new facilities, located at the Perot Field Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, in September last year, stating it will support a growing fleet of E-jets in the US.
