Embraer first-quarter deliveries rise 47% year-on-year

Embraer delivered 44 aircraft in the first quarter of 2026, a 47% increase from the 30 jets delivered in the same period a year earlier, reflecting improved production levels across its business units.

The Brazilian aerospace manufacturer said the increase was supported by progress in production levelling initiatives, which have helped stabilise output following earlier constraints.

In commercial aviation, Embraer delivered 10 aircraft during the quarter, up from seven in the first quarter of 2025. The deliveries included three E195-E2 jets, the largest aircraft currently produced by the company in this segment.

Executive aviation remained the largest contributor to overall volumes, with 29 jets delivered in the quarter, compared with 23 a year earlier. The increase was driven by higher deliveries of both light and midsize aircraft, reflecting continued demand in the business jet market.

In its defence & security division, Embraer delivered five aircraft, comprising one KC-390 Millennium multi-mission military transport aircraft and four A-29 Super Tucano aircraft. No aircraft were delivered in this segment in the first quarter of 2025.

Looking ahead, Embraer expects to deliver between 80 and 85 aircraft in its commercial aviation division in 2026, with the midpoint representing a 6% increase year-on-year. In executive aviation, the company forecasts deliveries of between 160 and 170 jets, also implying midpoint growth of 6% compared with the previous year.
