Embraer has pledged to invest approximately $3.5bn into Brazil by 2030, said the manufacturers president and chief executive officer, Francisco Gomes Neto.
Embraer said in a statement that it plans for the investment to go towards increased aircraft production, business expansion in international markets, and the development of sustainable technologies, with the goal of a low-carbon economy in the aerospace industry.
The investment forecast aligns with the company’s recent practices and Embraer’s growth plan for the next five years.
One of these technologies is the eVTOL manufactured by EVE and backed by Embraer.
