Embraer has signed an agreement with Kenya Airways to optimise inventory levels for the airline's fleet of E190 jets.
The agreement, which will see Kenya Airways enrolled on the manufacturer's tailored spare parts inventory management system - the Embraer Collaborative Inventory Planning (ECIP) program - will provide support for 13 aircraft.
“We are ready to support the airline to keep its E-Jets fleet ready to fly, matching excellent performance and low operational costs,” said Carlos Naufel, president and CEO, Embraer Services & Support. "
Our solution will provide Kenya Airways access to Embraer’s global logistics network and deepen the partnership between our companies.”
Within Kenya Airways’ 2024 financial earnings, the airline stated that looking ahead to the rest of this year, it will focus on capitalisation to strengthen its financial position while addressing engine and spare parts constraints to ensure operational efficiency.
