Embraer deliveries increased 13% in 2023

Embraer delivered 75 aircraft in the fourth quarter of 2023, comprising 49 executive jets, 25 commercial jets and one military aircraft. However, despite the yearly total for the Brazilian manufacturer reaching 131 aircraft, Embraer notes it ‘continues to face supply chain delays which have affected 2023 deliveries’.

The executive aviation segment continued to see ‘sustained demand across its entire product portfolio,’ notes Embraer, ending the year with a book-to-bill in excess of 1.3:1 and a $400 million growth year-on-year. Its deliveries of 74 light jets (the Phenom 100 and 300) in 2023 reached a 7-year high in terms of volume and marked a 12% increase from 2022. Its medium jet deliveries (Praetor 500 and 600) also totalled 41 in 2023, signifying double-digit growth at 14%.

In Embraer’s commercial portfolio, the E-Jets family deliveries increases 12% year-on-year to 64 units in 2023, supported by a book-to-bill in excess of 1.1:1. In particular, the E2 group’s deliveries more than doubled from 19 aircraft in 2022 to 39 in 2023. The E-Jet family now has a firm order backlog of 298 units, representing a total of $8.8 billion.
