French company Elyse Energy has secured €120 million ($126.8 million) from Hy24, PGGM, Bpifrance and Mirova to accelerate the development of its e-methanol and sustainable aviation fuel production projects in France and Spain.

Under the transaction,Elyse Energy received funding from long-standing partners, private asset manager Hy24 and affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, Mirova.

Hy24 strengthened its commitment to Elyse Energy by acquiring a stake in the company through its clean hydrogen infrastructure fund. Dutch pension fund investor PGGM and Bpifrance provided additional finance.

The energy transition is accelerating, and we are proud to actively contribute to this transformation.”

This latest funding round will aim to support the company in progressing its leading projects.
