Elevate Aviation Group names three new executives ahead of launch of private jet booking app

Elevate Aviation Group (EAG), a US-based provider of private aviation service, has made three key executive hires ahead of the launch of its “ground-breaking” booking app for private jet travel.

Zach Sperber has been named executive vice president of aircraft management sales, Greg Johnson has been named senior vice president of aircraft management sales, and Jessica McClintock has been named vice president of sales and global partnerships.

Sperber previously served as executive vice president of aircraft management at both Jet Linx and Jet Edge International, where he played a key role in scaling operations and developing AdvantEdge.

AvantEdge is a charter management programme that helps aircraft owners to offset operating costs while expanding charter availability.

At Elevate, Sperber will work with Johnson to oversee aircraft management and charter services.

Johnson brings to 25 years’ experience in aircraft management and fixed based operator (FBO) activities to Elevate.

In 2001, he acquired a Bay Area FBO through Apex Aviation and tripled its revenues within five years.

As vice president of business development for ACM Aviation and San Jose Jet Center, he managed and grew a fleet from 18 to 42 aircraft in 24 months, doubling revenue, and grew the company to over 60 managed aircraft through mergers and acquisitions.

Most recently, at Jet Edge International alongside Sperber, he helped to grow the company’s fleet size from 15 aircraft to 60 under management and 40 owned aircraft.

At Elevate, Johnson will lead fleet expansion and operational strategy as the company prepares to launch its consumer app.

McClintock joins Elevate with a history of growing technology platforms into successive solutions.

As vice president of global account management for FuelerLinx, she helped grow a SaaS platform to more than $3bn in annual transaction volume and expand its user base past 10,000 worldwide.

The new hires will together be driving the launch of Elevate’s forthcoming consumer app, which aims to deliver convenient booking and reliable pricing for private jet travel.

“The new app primarily targets first-time charter clients and seasoned travelers that know exactly what they need and simply want to quickly and easily book their aircraft,” the company said.

“Under the guidance of the new executive team, the upcoming app is poised to set fresh benchmarks for private charter booking.”
