Swiss leisure airline Edelweiss will terminate its Zurich to Havana service from February 27, 2025, citing low demand and current conditions at José Martí International Airport in Havana.
“An on-site inspection by Edelweiss has shown that it is difficult to guarantee a long-term stable and reliable long-haul operation,” the airline confirmed.
The airline, which commenced its first service to the Cuban capital in June 2014, currently operates this service once a week, on its A340 aircraft.
