Swiss leisure carrier Edelweiss is expanding its short-haul fleet to a total of 16 aircraft, taking two A320s from sister company Swiss International Air Lines.
One A320 will join Edelweiss' fleet in mid-October, with one A320neo aircraft following in April 2026.
‘I am delighted that Edelweiss is continuing to develop on short and medium-haul routes and that we are taking an important step towards modernising our short-haul fleet with the first Airbus A320neo,” said says Bernd Bauer, CEO of Edelweiss.
This will be the first A320neo aircraft to join the airline’s fleet.
