Eastern Airways, the UK’s regional airline and based at Humberside Airport, has launched a Summer 2021 service to Jersey in the Channel Islands commencing on 19 June.
The new weekly Saturday service will offer 45% more capacity than in recent years due to the UK staycation demand to destinations such as the Channel Islands. The service will run until 25 September.
Roger Hage, General Manager, Eastern Airways, said: “Given the UK staycation growth especially for this summer, we are bringing this popular Channel Island service to Jersey back to Humberside Airport for the summer season. As passenger confidence increases following the UK’s relaxation of restrictions, we want to ensure the right services are being offered.”
A service from Teesside to Jersey is also operating weekly on Saturdays from 29th May with Eastern Airways.
