LOT Polish Airlines shuffles management team

The supervisory board of LOT Polish Airlines has taken the decision to appoint Rafał Milczarski to the position of the company’s president of the management board, effective 1 September.

In addition, Katarzyna Piskorz is going to serve as a member of the management board for corporate affairs, while Paweł Rozkrut is going to become a member of the management board for financial and economic affairs, effective 16 September.

Milczarski has been president of the management board of LOT since January 2016. A year later, Milczarski was appointed president of AIRE (Airlines International Representation in Europe), which brings together airline carriers from across Europe. Since 2017, he has been president of Polska Grupa Lotnicza (Polish Aviation Group). The group is formed by the key companies in the aviation industry that are owned by the Polish Treasury, including LOT Polish Airlines, LOT AMS and LS Airport Services. In August 2019, Milczarski was appointed to the IATA board of governors.

Piskorz is an experienced corporate manager. For 15 years, she worked in PZU Group – the largest financial institution in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe.

Meanwhile, Rozkrut has many years of international experience as a board member and financial director.
