Dnata appoints new head of operations in Geneva

Global air and travel services provider dnata has appointed Gilles Pellotaz as the company’s new head of operations in Geneva, Switzerland, where he will oversee the company’s operations at Geneva airport including ramp, cargo and passenger services. He will manage a team of over 600 employees. Pellotaz joins dnata from public transport company RATP Dev, where he served as managing director for Switzerland. He previously held the positions of operations director at hospitality and catering group RATP Dev, and Geneva-based regional operations manager at food and beverage outlet operator SSP Group. Expressing his enthusiasm at engaging “a seasoned manager with a vast experience in the various fields of the dynamic service industry,” managing director of dnata Switzerland Willy Ruf added: “Gilles’ appointment is part of our broader plan to enhance our operations, including continued investment in leadership, training, infrastructure and equipment, across our Swiss operations”.
