In August 2017, Wizz Air carried 2,887,770 passengers – an increase of 24.4% over the same period in 2016. This was on the back of a 21.3% rise in capacity to 3,028,438 seats. Load factor for the month rose by 2.4 percentage points to 95.4% compared to August 2016.
For the 12 months to end August 2017, Wizz Air passenger traffic rose by 22.4% to 26,325,744 customers compared to the year-ago period, on the back of a 19% increase in capacity to 28,910,552 total seats. Load factor rose by 2.5 percentage points to 88.5%.
