German manufacturer of regional commercial aircraft Deutsche Aircraft has signed a Letter of Intent with an ‘undisclosed customer’ for the purchase of up to four D328ecos, which will replace an ageing turboprop fleet.
“The aircraft’s ability to operate in challenging environments – including short, unpaved runways and remote destinations – makes it a reliable, capable and efficient solution for regional operators,” commented Anastasija Visnakova, vice president of sales and marketing at Deutsche Aircraft.
The D328eco is described by the OEM as being able to ‘operate in challenging weather and infrastructure conditions, including extreme heat and sub-zero temperatures’; factors that ‘set it apart from other aircraft in its class’. It also possesses short take-off and landing (STOL) capabilities.
