Aerospace aftermarket service provider StandardAero has appointed Derek Kerr to its board of directors.
Kerr most recently served as vice chair of American Airlines and president of American Eagle. In addition, he previously served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of American Airlines.
“Kerr is a proven aviation and aerospace leader who brings the domain experience, business acumen and customer perspectives of a true industry expert, along with the enthusiasm, energy and insight to help guide our company’s future,” commented Russell Ford chairman and chief executive officer of StandardAero.
Kerr’s appointment was effective from February 18, 2025.
