Delta TechOps signs deal with Cimber Sterling

Delta TechOps, has signed a three-year, multimillion dollar contract with Danish based Cimber Sterling Airlines to provide time and materials services for 11 CFM56-7B engines and Honeywell GTCP131-9B APUs for the airline’s fleet.

After evaluating several highly respected European maintenance and repair organizations, Cimber Sterling chose Delta TechOps for its track record in customer service excellence, competitive pricing and ability to deliver a complete service offering, according to Steen Ingemann Jorgensen, B737 engineering manager at Cimber Sterling.

Cimber Sterling provides flights to destinations throughout Europe and the Middle East as well as in Scandinavia and Denmark, and operates a fleet of 28 large and small aircraft. The contract covers time and materials services for more than one-third of the fleet’s engines.
