A Delta Air Lines MD-88 en route from Atlanta to New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA) was forced to make an emergency landing at New York JFK International Airport after a problem with the aircraft’s hydraulic system. The aircraft landing safely and there were no injuries or damage to the aircraft, however the MD-88 did roll to a grassy area after it had stopped at the end of the runway. The FAA is investigating the incident.
