The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) has appointed Debbie Simpson as its new CFO, effectively immediately.
Simpson joined Toronto Pearson as interim CFO in November 2024, bringing with her more than 35 years of experience in financial management, after holding senior financial leadership roles at both Li-Cycle and Maple Leaf Foods.
“Debbie’s deep expertise in financial leadership and strategic execution across large, complex organisations makes her an exceptional addition to our executive team,” said Deborah Flint, president and CEO, GTAA.
The GTAA said Simpson will be instrumental in shaping Toronto Pearson’s financial strategy, while driving delivery of the airport’s ten-year strategic plan.
