Copa Holdings has reported a net profit of $518.2 million for the full year of 2023, up 48.9% from $348.1 million in 2022. Net profit for the fourth quarter of 2023 was $191.8 million, up from $88.3 million in the fourth quarter of 2022. Adjusted net profit was at $675.1 million for 2023 and at $188.4 million for the fourth quarter of 2023.
Operating revenue was up 16.7% from $2.96bn in 2022 to $3.46bn in 2023 and was up 3% for the fourth quarter year-on-year (YoY) at $916.9 million.
Adjusted earnings per share (EPS) were up from $8.26 in 2022 to $16.79 in 2023. Fourth quarter adjusted EPS was down 0.5% YoY to $4.47.
Load factor increased 1.8 percentage point, rising from 85.1% in 2022 to 86.8% in 2023. Fourth quarter of 2023 load factor was stable rising 0.01 percentage point to 86.7%.
