Copa Holdings and Lufthansa System have signed a partnership on the use of Lido FMS and Lido mPilot to enable maximum operational efficiency and safety. Copa Airlines and AeroRepública are subsidiaries of Copa Holdings and a member of the global Star Alliance network.
According to Lufthansa Systems, the Lido Pilot Solutions and Lido Data Solutions will provide Copa Holdings with the highest quality of complete and customizable aeronautical data and navigation solution, in the most efficient way.
Daniel Gunn, Senior Vice-President of Operations at Copa Holdings said: “Safety is our top priority. With Lido FMS and Lido mPilot, we have chosen two solutions that maximize safety and operational cost savings while enabling the use of the latest technology in our flight operations.”

Lufthansa system claims that by using Lido FMS, pilots can always access flight-relevant information and plan their routes accordingly while Lido mPilot is an all-in-one navigation solution. The solution is designed to increase pilots’ situational awareness.
