Clyde & Co has appointed Robert Lawson QC as senior equity partner in its aviation group. Lawson’s appointment is a rare lateral move from the senior ranks of the independent bar. He joins from Quadrant Chambers where he has a general commercial and common law practice, with particular emphasis on the world of aviation law.
“We're absolutely delighted to bring Rob to the firm as he has a unique set of skills, experience and relationships across the industry that will benefit our already market-leading practice, not least his experience in regulatory and commercial disputes,” said Clyde & Co in a statement. “As the aviation market and regulatory landscape becomes ever more complex and globalised, we are as committed as ever to offering sophisticated and globally-integrated legal advice to our clients. Rob will play a key part in helping us achieve these objectives.”
