Cimber passenger traffic 20% down in February

Danish Cimber Sterling airline controlled by Ukrainian businessman Ihor Kolomoisky has said that the total passenger traffic from its own operations in February decreased by 20% from 2011 levels, to 112,842 persons. The company said that the load factor rose 7% in February to a total of 69%, and the number of operated flights increased by 4%.

Cimber Sterling airline said last month that the operations of four Boeing 737s will be transferred to Jet Time (Denmark) following a conditional framework agreement between the two airlines. It is said that this would enable Cimber Sterling to release resources to focus on its core business: domestic traffic in Denmark and Sweden and regional traffic to and from Scandinavia.
