CHROMALLOY RECEIVES AOE CERTIFICATE FROM JCAB

Chromalloy has received the company’s third Approved Organization Exposition certificate from the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB).

The certificate was awarded to Chromalloy’s San Antonio, Texas, repair station following a rigorous audit by JCAB and determination of operational capabilities to provide repair services on various components in turbine engines powering Japanese commercial aircraft.

Earlier this year, two other Chromalloy engine repair service centers in the U.S. – in Phoenix, Arizona, and Carson City, Nevada – received AOE authorization from the JCAB.

Under the JCAB approval, the Chromalloy service centers can provide turbine engine component repairs for the country’s leading airlines, Japan Airlines (JAL) and All Nippon Airways (ANA).

The San Antonio operation is a 292,000 square-foot repair center that provides services on a wide range of aircraft engines.

The operation also holds repair approval certificates from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), Directorate General Civil Aviation (DGCA) Indonesia, Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) Thailand, and AMECO Beijing Contractor Authorization.
