Christopher Broad has joined Airline Economics as Airline Analyst Team Lead. Chris is responsible for tracking airline fleet and financial information, airline fleet management and finance strategy, as well as building and maintaining key relationships with airlines, lessors, manufacturers, and financial institutions.
Chris will produce airline reports on industry trends as well as working on consultancy projects with airline customers, including transition costs and third-party consulting as part of the new Airline Economics+ programme. Chris will be working with airlines on aircraft and engine acquisition and disposal, as well as aircraft and engine utilisation optimisation.
Chris will be joining the new central London offices of Airline Economics+ as part of our new senior team comprising a senior aviation banker, a senior marine consultant, an ISTAT appraiser and others, creating a highly experienced transportation finance consulting team.

Chris Broad joins Airline Economics from Vista Global where he was Senior Corporate Finance Manager in charge of fleet management and financing strategy including aircraft (and engine) acquisition, disposal, financing/refinancing, and restructurings. Prior to that Chris was Senior Manager – Commercial Fleet Management and Fleet Finance at TUI Group, where he was responsible for the negotiation and management of all owned aircraft and engine re-marketing and disposal processes. Before that, Chris was Senior Group Fleet Manager, Avincis Mission Critical Services / TUI Travel as Head of Contracts and Procurement, Viking Airlines UK Ltd (previously known as Meridian Aviation) and before that - XL Airways UK Ltd.
