Cebu Pacific is planning to ramp its operations from its hub at Mactan-Cebu International Airport by June 2023. The airline will commence direct flights from Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB) to Taipei's Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport starting June 23, 2023. This route will increase Cebu Pacific's operations from the airport to five international and 23 domestic destinations.

As a part of its expansion plan, the airline will increase its flight frequency on 11 of its existing destinations, increasing its capacity by 76,000 per month or 21%. The airline will also resume its flights on Hong Kong route from March 26, 2023 and Tokyo Narita route from May 1.

The airline will also add two additional aircraft to its fleet at the CEB hub, apart from the 10 A320s expected to arrive this year.

Candice Iyog, chief marketing and customer experience officer, Cebu Pacific said: “Cebu Pacific is proud to have its largest base outside Manila in one of the best airports in Asia. We are excited to further expand our Cebu hub to connect more travelers to some of the world's best beaches and islands.
