Cebu Pacific carried 2.6 million passengers during January, a 33.4% increase compared to the same period of the year prior.
The airline cited holiday travel demand and its network expansion as reasons for an increase in traffic. Cebu Pacific now covers 124 routes, up from 104 during the same period of last year.
“Throughout this year, we are committed to optimising our capacity to meet the rising consumer demand along with the need to manage ongoing engine and supply chain issues,” said Alexander Lao, president and chief commercial officer of the airline
Load factor improved during the month to 86.5% from 85.1% the year prior, while seat capacity grew by 31.2%.
