China Development Bank’s financial leasing arm (CDBALF) via its aircraft leasing company CDB Aviation has entered into an aircraft purchase agreement with Boeing for the purchase 50 737-8 aircraft.
In a stock filing, the company said that the order was in line with its strategies and that it would "optimize the fleet structure and increase the proportion of next-generation aircraft with advanced technologies, high fuel efficiency and wide market penetration”.
This purchase agreement comes only a week after CDB Aviation entered into an aircraft purchase agreement with Airbus for the purchase of 80 A320neo family aircraft.
The delivery of the aircraft from Boeing is expected to take place between 2028 and 2031.
