The South China Morning Post is reporting that a deal has been agreed for Cathay Pacific Airways to acquire budget airline HK Express, although no formal announcement has yet been made.
Cathay Pacific confirmed three weeks ago that it was in active discussions to acquire HK Express from HNA Group. Both companies have only confirmed that discussions were continuing.
