During the second quarter of the year China Aircraft Leasing (CALC) completed eight aircraft lease transactions, while signing 44 lease commitments.
The lessor ended the quarter with a portfolio comprising of 295 owned managed and on order aircraft, including 151 owned aircraft and 30 managed.
The company said by the end of the three-month period, it currently has 114 new aircraft on order from Airbus and COMAC, which are scheduled for delivery over the next five years.
Owned and managed aircraft were on lease to 41 airlines in 22 countries and regions during the quarter.
CALC has also signed a lease agreement with Air Cairo for two new A320neo aircraft powered by CFM LEAP-1A engines, with the two aircraft scheduled for delivery during the second quarter of 2026.
The collaboration between CALC and Air Cairo began in 2023 through the leasing of two A320neo jets.
