British Airways is set to reinstate operations to Tbilisi next year, after the carrier ceased operations to the Georgian capital in 2013.
The UK flag carrier will offer four flights per week to Tbilisi from its hub at London Heathrow (LHR).
“We expect this to be a popular route with the leisure market, which has seen a strong comeback since 2019, as well as with those looking to enjoy direct flights to visit friends and family,” said Neil Chernoff, British Airways’ chief planning and strategy officer. “We look forward to improving the connectivity between our two capital cities next year.”
Flights to Tbilisi will commence on March 30, 2025 and will be operated by the airlines A320neo aircraft.
