Just days after Boeing announced Stephanie Pope as its newly created COO, moving on from her position as Global Services CEO and president, Chris Raymond has been appointed to take on her former role. He previously worked at Boeing as chief sustainability officer. Brian Moran will succeed Raymond’s prior position. Both appointments will be effective as of January 1, 2024.
Raymond will lead all aspects of Global Services’ aerospace services business in supporting commercial, government, and aviation industry customers worldwide. Raymond will continue to serve on Boeing’s executive council and will report to Pope.
“Chris brings more than 30 years of Boeing expertise in nearly every aspect of our operations, and has strong employee, customer and supplier connections across our commercial and government suppliers,” said Pope.
Raymond has been Boeing’s chief sustainability officer since October 2020. His successor, Moran, will assume the responsibility of ensuring the company’s sustainability advancement, focusing on aerospace sustainability, stakeholder-oriented reporting, industrywide partnerships, and company performance to achieve its goals.
