Boeing has issued $900 million of senior unsecured notes in three tranches, with maturities of 2022, 2027, and 2047. Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, but proceeds may be considered a partial refinancing of the approximately $400 million of debt maturing later in this year.
The $300 million senior notes that nature in 2022 pay 2.125%; the $300 million 2027 notes pay 2.800%; and the $300 million 2047 notes have a coupon of 3.650%.
Joint bookrunners for the 2022 notes are Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, SMBC Nikko, Credit Agricole CIB, Santander and US Bancorp. Joint bookrunners for the 2027 notes are Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, Mizuho Securities, BNP Paribas, BofA Merrill Lynch and RBC Capital Markets. Joint bookrunners for the 2047 notes are Citigroup, JPMorgan, Wells Fargo Securities, Barclays, Morgan Stanley and MUFG.
