SkyWorks declares Q2 2022 report

SkyWorks arranged the lease placement of four 737-800 aircraft to a European low-cost airline in the second quarter of 2022. SkyWorks released a report of the transactions and activities in Q2 2022 for its Leasing & Asset Management and Investment Banking & Advisory Groups. SkyWorks arranged the sale of one A319 aircraft on lease to American Airlines on behalf of an institutional investor client.

SkyWorks continued its role as a backup servicer for a large financial institution in respect of certain portfolio assets and SkyWorks arranged the sale of one A319 aircraft on lease to American Airlines on behalf of the Middle East-based leasing company.

SkyWorks also entered into a vertical partnership with Access Alternative Investments to source and manage leased aircraft that are younger than 12 years of age at the time of acquisition. Access Alternative Investments is a new and innovative fintech platform established by a senior management team with decades of industry expertise.

Skyworks appointed Jamie White as Senior Associate as a part of the expansion of its asset management capabilities. Jamie will be responsible to support the aircraft remarketing efforts with airlines.

Meanwhile, SkyWorks continues to advise Spirit Airlines in connection with the sale and leaseback financing of its 2023 A320neo deliveries and Flybe on fleet-related matters in conjunction with the relaunch of the airline.
