Boeing delivers 45 jets in April

Boeing delivered 45 commercial jets in April, marking an increase from 41 jets last month, as well as a substantial lift from the 24 jets delivered in April last year.

The deliveries are the highest deliveries of the year next to January, which also saw 45 jets delivered that month.

Boeing's deliveries consisted of 29 737 MAXs in the month, down from 33 in March, and up from 16 in April last year. In addition, the company delivered eight 787s during the month, more than doubling from the three delivered last month and doubling from the four delivered in April 2024.

The company also noted an order for eight 737 MAX aircraft during April from an undisclosed customer.

The manufacturer's backlog is at 5,643 aircraft. Boeing also secured an order from AviLease for up to 30 737 MAX jets, marking the lessor's first direct order with the OEM.
