Boeing delivered 130 airplanes in the first three months of 2023, with the 737 range making up most of the Seattle-based manufacturer's output at 113.
The rest of the deliveries were made up of 11 787's, 4 777's as well as a 767 and 747. The 747 delivery, to Atlas Air, was the last-ever of the iconic aircraft. Deliveries of 787's were put on hold by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) during the quarter but resumed in March, when 64 of the 130 deliveries took place.
Boeing edged out rival Airbus, which has reported 127 deliveries in 2023, 61 of them in March. Boeing's deliveries were down on the final quarter of 2022, when it produced 152 commercial aircraft, taking it to 480 for the year.
The company made 42 military and space deliveries in Q1 2023, around half of which were helicopters.
