Boeing has appointed Jeff Shockey as the company’s new executive vice president of government operations, global public policy and corporate strategy.
Shockey will lead Boeing's global public policy efforts, including US federal, state and local government operations and sustainability, as well as the company's global philanthropic organisation, Boeing Global Engagement.
"His prior experience at Boeing and across the commercial and defence industry will support our ongoing focus on strengthening our culture and building a new future for Boeing based on a strong foundation of safety, quality and performance,” said Boeing president and CEO Kelly Ortberg.
Shockey has returned to Boeing after leading global government relations at RTX. His previous Boeing leadership roles include vice president of global sales and marketing for defence, space & security and vice president of federal affairs and international policy for government. He will report to Ortberg, while also serving on the company's executive council.
Shockey will assume this new position from February 24, 2025.
