Boeing has appointed Dana Deasy as chief information digital officer. Deasy will also serve as senior vice president of information technology and data analytics.

Elected to the role effective December 31, 2024, Deasy will oversee all aspects of information technology, information security, data and analytics. He will report to Boeing president and CEO Kelly Ortberg and will also serve on the company's executive council.

“Dana is a globally respected technology leader with a proven track record of implementing innovative technologies in large, complex organisations,” Ortberg said in a statement.

Deasy previously served as chief information officer at the US Department of Defense and has held top IT roles at JPMorgan Chase, BP, and General Motors. His career began in information management at Rockwell’s Space Systems Division.

He succeeds Susan Doniz, who departed Boeing late last year.
